An incredible story of being shot down over Europe, surviving the plane crash and making his way to Paris only to be betrayed to the Gestapo, tortured and sentenced to death as a spy. He was saved from the intervention of the Luftwaffe who sent him to the POW camp, Stalag Luft III.
